CONTENT ANALYSIS OF COGNITIVE DOMAIN IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH TEXTBOOK

The purpose of this study is to determine the types cognitive domain, in Senior High School English Textbook uses Wh questions based on Revised Bloom's Taxonomy, as well distribution higher and lower order thinking skills questions. descriptive qualitative method perform investigation. data research are Buku Guru Bahasa Inggris for grade 10th with 2013 Curiculum published by Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, After examining data, findings reveal that textbook did not cover all domains: (C1) 66.66%, (C2) 33.33%, (C3), (C4), (C5) (C6) 0%. low-order thinking, Remembering 28 understanding 14 questions, include 42 100%. There no issues high-order skill such analyzing, evaluating, creating (0%). It finds ditribution high low unbalance.
